PROJECT: A MAJOR KITCHEN TUNE UP
Our clients purchased this home in the 1990's and were unhappy with the choices they made in the kitchen. They wanted a kitchen that was elegant and comfortable. Most of all, they wanted a kitchen that would never go out of style.

Our Concept
We designed the kitchen flooring with 20"porcelain tile installed diagonally to make the space look bigger. We added granite dots and continued the flooring into two adjoining rooms to make it all flow together. We started with busy wall paper, laminate countertops, oak cabinets and outdated appliances.
We selected sophisticated materials such as granite counter tops, tumbled marble backsplash, stainless steel appliances, brushed nickel fixtures, updated pendant lighting and custom window treatments.
When we began this redesign, we intended to replace the cabinets. But since they were structurally sound, we decided to reface them. Our client saved thousands of dollars.

Our Solution
The cabinets were refaced in a classic dark wood and a simple door style that is timeless. Details make a difference! The switch plate covers were hand painted to blend in with the backsplash.
The coupling of casual contemporary and formal classic, of practical and elegant, is what this kitchen is all about.

PROJECT: A KITCHEN WITH SMALL CHANGES AND BIG RESULTS
When our clients purchased this home, they knew that they wanted to redesign the kitchen. It is a nice sized space with good bones and wood floors. Our client's liked their cabinets and decided to keep them along with their appliances and wood flooring. The busy wallpaper, dated backsplash and blue laminate countertops had to go!
Our Concept
We achieved a new look with textured wall covering, granite counter tops, a new stainless steel sink and a new faucet. We designed a backsplash that featured a beautiful mural and accent tiles.
We decided to install the new wall covering right over the existing wall paper. We accomplished our goal and we saved money since we didn't have to strip the walls and re-texture them.
Our Solution
On a relatively small budget we were able to replace the outdated counters, tile, wallpaper and bring it up to date for clients with very distinctive taste.

“Debbie has been helping us with design challenges for our house for several years. When we decided to redecorate our kitchen last year, we called Debbie for help. She helped us update our kitchen and stay within our budget. Debbie has been here with us every step of the way, and as a result, our house is now very stylish and still very comfortable.” Sarah H.
