PROJECT: LIVING ROOM FOR EMPTY NESTERS
Our client's home is large, open and spacious with a great floor plan for entertaining.
The home was new when they purchased it and they experienced the overwhelming task of making all the selections on their own.
After several years of living with choices that they were never really happy with, they called us to help them transform their home into a space that was as unique as they are.
Our Concept
To further soften the hard edges we added tons of fabric. We designed sophisticated swags that are gracefully draped over wooden poles with bouillon trim. An abundance of quilted silk fabric frames the beautiful windows. Custom recliners and slipper chairs contribute to the cozy feeling in this living room.
The flooring in this space is 20" porcelain tile that flowed from the adjoining kitchen and breakfast area. Since we had hard flooring we designed a custom area rug to soften the space.
Our Solution
The fireplace was given a face lift by replacing the tile with Limestone and marble tiles with a decorative leaf pattern. This room can be described as classic, understated elegance, but it is also very practical.
The clients are empty nesters and use this space to relax and watch television so we used matching recliners instead of the traditional sofa. Now both clients can really get comfy.

PROJECT: OPEN SPACE GREAT ROOM
This is a beautiful space with wonderful architectural features. The walls are eighteen feet tall with extensive molding and a giant wall of windows. Our client's were happy with their classic, traditional furniture but they were stumped about how to handle the huge window wall.
Our Concept
Our challenge was to transform a large, cavernous space into a cozy great room that maintains the upscale integrity of the architecture. We selected fabrics and designed floor to ceiling window treatments to frame the windows.
Our Solution
Two sofas were placed in front of the fireplace in an angled arrangement that repeated the angles in the space. This provided comfortable viewing of the fireplace as well as the television. We added art, accessories and greenery that suited the clients taste.

PROJECT: MOVE IN MAKOVER
Our client moved to this spacious, open concept home from a more traditional home and was unsure about making her furniture fit the new space.
Our Solution
We created a comfy seating arrangement in front of the fireplace, making it more conducive to conversation. With just one day of design service, our client now feels right at home.

PROJECT: ONE DAY MAKEOVER AND A LITTLE BIT MORE
When we began working with our client she was unhappy with the blue gray carpet in this space. They had owned an antique furniture business and owned many fabulous pieces that they were trying to incorporate into their home.
Our Solution
We helped her to select a palette that would work with the carpet and compliment the beautiful art that she had collected over the years. We designed and created silk drapery to frame the windows. We arranged the clients' furniture, added art she already owned, and arranged her accessories.
What a difference a day of redesign, paint and drapery can make!

PROJECT: REDESIGN IN A DAY
The space was already very nice when we began our work with this client. But we knew that with a little fine tuning, we were capable of making it even better.
Our Solution
We rearranged the furniture and placed the lighting in the best locations to create a comfy place for reading and watching the fire. Using only the furniture, lighting and accessories that the client already owned, we created a new, inviting space for this family.

“Debbie has worked with me on our house since 2003 redoing all bedrooms, baths, loft and den. She staged my dining and living room with things I had and we painted the downstairs all one color. She is quite amazing in her color selection and fabric choices to complement. In the near future, I will be having her help me with our new retirement home. Why should I call someone else? She knows what I like. Thank you Deb, I enjoy my home every day.”
